When we started brainstorming locations for a launch event for Stopped in My Tracks, I said that it was my dream to hold the book launch at Books & Books. I was born in Miami, grew up in Miami, trained to be a physician in Miami. We hung out at Books & Books for fun. It would be so meaningful to return to Books & Books for this special event.
But famous authors have their book signings at Books & Books. So it was a dream that I didn’t really think was possible.
And then they said yes!
When we posted the details for the event, the tickets sold out very quickly. Books & Books then made more tickets available so that everyone who wanted to attend could attend.
My heart was so full to look at everyone in the room and to share the words that stopped me in my tracks.
